Hurricane ICE Sight Combo 41cm

Hurricane ICE Sight Combo is a robust ice-fishing set with a durable fibreglass rod and a secure screw-down reel seat. The blank has extra-large guides to reduce the risk of the line freezing to them in sub-zero temperatures. The rod is suitable for fishing with a pilk, flashing spoon or balance lure, and its 41 cm length makes it convenient for sight fishing through the ice. It fits easily in a snowmobile box or ice-fishing box. A hole in the end of the butt provides a place to attach the hook when using a long trace with a flashing spoon. The L60 graphite ice-fishing reel has a smooth drag that can be switched between left- and right-hand retrieve by turning the bearing in the spool. ICE Sight is developed for anglers who want a short, handy rod for sight fishing while still having a reel with a drag when a larger fish takes. It is also suitable for conventional ice fishing and has performed well when targeting perch with a balance lure. The short length gives direct contact in the hand and helps detect cautious bites. The spool measures 60 mm externally and 30 mm internally, and comes loaded with 50 m of 0.35 mm nylon line.
