The long fibres make it easy to tie large pike patterns with a full profile that still swims freely and pulses on the retrieve. Bucktail also sheds water well, so your flies cast more smoothly and sink less than with many synthetic materials of the same volume.

Use it for big pike streamers, saltwater patterns, baitfish imitations and wings or tails on larger predator flies. Each tail offers a generous amount of usable hair with a natural taper, giving you good control of the fly's silhouette and movement.
