Guideline ULBC Wading Boot is built for demanding backcountry fly fishing, combining the support of a trekking boot with the function of a technical wading boot. The rigid main shell provides excellent torsional stability, giving secure footing when you are wading deep or scrambling along steep riverbanks.
The trusted Vibram® Idrogrip rubber outsole offers reliable grip on wet stones, muddy trails, and slick riverbeds, helping you wade with confidence in heavy current. A wide, trekking-inspired last and gusseted, ergonomic tongue give a snug and comfortable fit that wraps the foot, minimising pressure points during long days on the water.
The upper is made from durable recycled nylon laminated to closed-cell foam to keep the boots light and to reduce water absorption, so they do not feel heavy after hours of wading. Based on the Alta NGX Boot platform, the construction is optimised to save weight without sacrificing ankle support or stability, making it suitable for anglers who hike far beyond the road end.
As part of the Guideline ULBC (Ultra-Light Back Country) concept, these boots are designed to save both weight and pack space while meeting modern environmental standards. The main fabric is bluesign® and OEKO-TEX® certified and treated with a PFAS-free DWR, supporting more responsible fly fishing adventures in remote waters.
