Guideline Scull Bunker Marabou

Going fishing for big, angry predatory trout? Scull Bunkers are large streamers, designed to be fished in rivers with an active retreive. Our designer Emil Westrin says his favourite way to fish these are upstream and strip in, be prepared for hard attacks and use a solid tippet! These flies are 10cm long and weigh 2,5grams in dry condition. Our flies are tied on high quality hooks with a solid steel wire to connect them, the head is original fish skull's from Flymen.

We recommend using a short leader, no longer than 1,5m and minimum 2x tippet, use a loop/rapala knot to give the fly maximum movement. Our favourite spot in the river for these flies are in stronger current and white water, we use a 7wt rod for this. Streamers require fly lines with a good turnover, check out our Power Presentation!
