Guideline Fario LW #68 (LH) - Anthracite

Guideline Fario LW is a light, reliable and solid fly reel series developed exclusively for trout fishing. Built around a strong truss frame and a fully sealed graphite/stainless steel disc drag, it offers secure fish control with very low start-up inertia and a smooth drag curve.

The recessed reel foot brings the reel closer to the blank for better rod balance and reduced torque when casting. An integrated tippet holder keeps the loose end of your mono or fluorocarbon tippet under control and helps avoid tangles when you move between pools. The slightly oversized large‑arbour spool gives fast line pick‑up and generous backing capacity.

Sizes Fario LW 24 and 46 have 1.3 kg of drag power, which is more than enough for all normal trout fishing. The drag knob has a full 360° adjustment range, from almost free‑running to the maximum setting intended for this style of fishing. Fario LW 68 is built with slightly thicker walls for extra stability and is tuned to 2 kg drag, making it suitable for sea trout and smaller salmon in rivers as well as heavier trout fishing.

Fario LW 24 suits up to line class #4, Fario LW 46 is ideal if you mix fishing in classes #4–6 and want several lines and spare spools, and Fario LW 68 matches single‑hand rods in classes #6–8 and light switch rods up to 11 ft in class #7. Each reel is delivered in a protective Cordura case that can stay on the rod, and you can choose right‑ or left‑hand retrieve.
