Summary

Lightweight, sealed-drag fly reel series with large-arbour design and full frame for secure line control. Sizes for everything from euro nymphing to heavy salmon and saltwater.

Productinformation

Guideline Aura is a modern fly reel series built around balance, reliability and clean design rather than unnecessary bulk. Seven carefully matched sizes cover everything from delicate trout fishing and euro nymphing to heavy two-hand salmon and demanding saltwater fishing.

The large-arbour spool gives fast line pick-up and better control during the fight, while the narrow spool width ensures neat line lay. Every size is tuned for its intended use, keeping weight low and providing good balance on today’s light and advanced fly rods. All models feature a full frame that prevents thin shooting lines or mono nymph lines from slipping between spool and cage.

A fully sealed carbon disc drag delivers smooth, consistent braking in both fresh- and saltwater. The lighter models provide up to 3 kg of drag pressure, while the larger #910, #810 DH and #1012 DH deliver up to 4 kg for strong fish and long runs. CNC‑machined drag knobs allow precise adjustment and secure grip, even with cold or wet fingers, and the double‑anodised 6061 aircraft aluminium construction offers low weight, strength and high corrosion resistance.

From the compact AURA #34 for fine trout tactics, via the allround AURA #56 and the specialised AURA EURO, up to the powerful AURA #78, #910, #810 DH and #1012 DH, there is a model suited to most European fly fishing situations.
