Hackling with top-quality ostrich feathers produces flies that swim in a way that they look like they would bite off the tippet and swim away on their own. Ostrich feathers can be used in many ways; these small feathers are also ideal for the "Butterflies" design, where the feather is tied in whole, flat over the body. Frödin Flies has selected the highest quality and dyed them in shades that match their way of tying all their patterns.
