Frödin Salar Convert Tip I/S2

This SALAR Convert Intermediate/Sink 2 tip is designed for situations where the fly needs to run just under the surface with reliable depth control. The fast intermediate rear section paired with a Sink 2 front keeps the leader under the tip, giving a stable, predictable swing for salmon and sea trout. It works equally well on floating or Float/Intermediate shooting heads, making it a flexible choice for changing conditions.

The low-friction coating and progressive taper help the tip turn over smoothly, even with heavier flies or in wind. A strong 40 lbs core and sleeve-reinforced loops give security when hooked into powerful fish. The clear colour and loop coding make it quick to pick the right density and length on the riverbank.
