Delphin CARBOX is a freespool reel with a carbon body, washers and rotor, plus a sophisticated internal mechanism. Carbon fibres reduce the overall weight while providing strength for challenging environments. The mechanism has 7+1 ball bearings for silent, reliable line retrieval. The stated 5.5:1 gear ratio provides fast retrieval and effortless fish fights; the technical data specifies 4.7:1 for all three models. The front drag uses carbon washers for precise braking-force adjustment, while the rear drag functions as a freespool. Move the rear lever to engage it, adjust its sensitivity with the rear knob, then slightly twist the handle after a strike to return instantly to the front drag. The metal spool has a bevelled edge, large line capacity, a sturdy metal line clip and milled holes that reduce weight. A robust bail, quality line roller, and metal handle with wooden knob complete the reel. The range is available in three deep-spool sizes, with 7+1 bearings and model-specific capacities and weights.
