Daiwa 25 Saltiga (G)

Daiwa 25 Saltiga (G) 35 is a heavy-duty saltwater reel developed for demanding sea fishing in Norway and other rough Nordic waters. With massive cranking power, stable construction and reliable drag, it is made for targeting halibut, big coalfish and cod from boat or drifting over deep marks.

The Hyper Drive Design concept combines a rigid Hyper Armed Housing in aluminium with Hyper Drive Digigear in brass and Hyper Double Support for the pinion. This gives very efficient power transfer when you fish heavy pilks, big shads or natural baits in strong current.

Hyper Tough Clutch and a Magsealed ball bearing help to keep saltwater and dirt out of the reel, while CRBB bearings add extra corrosion resistance for long-term use. The proven UTD drag system delivers smooth and stable drag pressure during long fights, reducing the risk of pulled hooks when a fish turns under the boat.

The powerful 100/110 mm handle and T-Shape handle knob provide a secure grip, even with wet hands or gloves, giving you good control when pumping big fish from depth.
