This is the perfect tube for your pike flies. Hard enough to withstand the firce teath of big pike, but just soft enough to dit well on your needle while tying. Gently warm it with a lighter or candle to make it a bit softer when pushing it on your needle.

When doing this you also increase the diameter in the rear for yout big single hook to sit well within the tube.
