Banks Pin

Banks Pin is an extremely versatile softbait developed with perch fishing in mind. Originally designed as a trailer for the Banks Tracer and Baby Tracer Bladed Jigs, its carefully designed profile and action make it suitable for a much wider range of techniques.

The specially shaped, leaf-like paddle tail effectively picks up the vibrations of the blade when Banks Pin is used as a Bladed Jig trailer. The result is a lively and distinctive action where the entire lure works together with the vibration of the blade. Its angular head profile also creates a streamlined transition to the jighead.

Banks Pin is far from limited to Bladed Jigs. The body design provides a stable action on several popular finesse rigs, making it an excellent choice for Carolina Rigs, Free Rigs and Dropshot Rigs. It also performs brilliantly as a soft jerkbait.

The soft material combined with the specialised tail shape really comes into its own on the free fall. Banks Pin descends with an irregular, tumbling movement that imitates an injured or weakened baitfish. When rigged on a Dart Jig, the angular head creates a clean transition to the jighead and helps the lure dart aggressively through the water.

Salt is incorporated into the belly, encouraging fish to hold onto the lure for longer and potentially giving you extra time to set the hook.

With three sizes available, Banks Pin can easily be matched to the fishing situation, rig and size of the local forage.
