Banks Maverick

Banks Maverick is a versatile perch softbait with a compact, bulky body and a high-frequency paddle tail action. The combination of its distinctive baitfish profile, soft material and active paddle tail produces plenty of movement even when the lure is retrieved extremely slowly.

The soft material allows the paddle tail to start working at low speeds, creating strong vibrations in the water. This makes Maverick an effective option when fish prefer a slower presentation, while it remains equally capable when used for more active jig fishing.

Maverick can be rigged conventionally on a jighead, but its body design also makes it well suited to an offset hook. This allows for a more weedless presentation when fishing through vegetation, around branches or close to other cover where an exposed hook could easily snag.

Salt incorporated into the belly encourages fish to hold onto the lure for longer. Together with the small pectoral fins, the design also helps stabilise the lure's swimming action, making Maverick suitable for a wide variety of popular finesse rigs.

The distinctive eye with an integrated Banks logo completes the natural baitfish appearance while also providing a clear strike point for attacking predators.
