This Flats Universal Taper intermediate is a proper dredging line for tarpon and other powerful saltwater species. The Ridge 2.0 Superflo coating gives a slimmer diameter and cleaner shooting, which helps carry large flies with less effort and more control.

The intermediate head sinks steadily, keeping the fly in the zone when fish hold deeper in channels or along edges. Thanks to the naturally slim profile, the line cuts through strong winds more efficiently than typical intermediates, keeping loops tight and turnover reliable. A low-stretch Power Core transfers power straight to the hook, helping secure solid hook-sets at distance or when fishing from a skiff.
