Abu Garcia Max 5 Pro LH

Max Pro is a robust low-profile baitcasting reel designed for anglers targeting hard-fighting fish with larger lures. The lightweight asymmetric graphite body and side plates sit comfortably in the hand, allowing long sessions of casting and retrieving without fatigue.

With a Carbon Matrix™ drag system delivering up to 20lb of max drag and a loud drag clicker, you keep control during tough fights and easily hear when line is being taken. The Duragear™ brass gear and 8+1 bearing system provide a smooth, consistent retrieve and long-term reliability in varied conditions.

The fast 7.5:1 gear ratio quickly picks up slack and is well suited for techniques that need a high line retrieve speed. A 90mm aluminium handle with oversized co-moulded soft-touch knobs gives a solid, comfortable grip, even with wet or cold hands. The MagTrax™ Braking System offers precise control over spool rotation, helping you cast accurately with fewer backlashes when throwing different lure weights.
