The bent handle with power knob increases torque and positions the cranking hand closer to the reel, providing more efficient fighting power. Its multi-disc drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure throughout the entire drag setting. Each 7000 reel is fitted with a corrosion-resistant instant anti-reverse bearing, a Duragear™ brass main gear for extended gear life, a one-piece reel foot and a 4-pin centrifugal braking system for controlled casts. The reel also features a 2-bearing system, extended bent handle with power knobs and a level wind system that improves line lay and castability.
