Prostaff Trout Icefishing Combo Standard

The reel of choice is from the qualitative brand Shimano, going under the name of Sienna 1000FG. This reel is well known in the world of sportfishing due to its low price and high quality. After proving many a time its quality we deem this one a favorite in its category.
To the compote we add an interestingly looking rod from Konger. The somewhat special design of the rod is actually made to prevent unnecessary friction from the line and is also providing a more smooth experience when fighting fish.

We are always using monofilament/nylon instead of braided lines when we're fishing during the winter, simply because the braided line gathers water and will eventually get stiff and frozen when temperatures drop below zero.
Therefore we wrap this one up by adding a popoular nylon line named Stroft GTM which comes in various dimensions based on the size of the fish targeted.
