Fluorocarbon is a slightly harder, slightly stiffer and tougher variant of a classic monofilament line. Fluorocarbon lines are used worldwide as the main line for perch fishing, bass fishing, pike fishing, sea fishing, saltwater fishing, etc. What Fluorocarbon also has as a major advantage over many other lines is that it is almost completely invisible underwater and that it sinks, giving you a chance to present your bait in a completely different way than if you were fishing with a braided line! Fluoro is also a wonderful material for making leaders, invisible last piece that is more resistant to stones and logs that hide under the surface!
